OMG cannot believe I’ve never been here before- SUCH an amazing trail !!! Absolutel STUNNING views at the lookouts; super well maintained; lovely little benches in a bunch of places; an impressive collection of educational plaques; and all for free! I can’t wait to be back — wowowowow so impressed!

Fantastic visit during the fall. Gravel roads lead you to the trail. The drive to this spot is beautiful too. The lookout point can get busy over the weekends; however, there is room for many people.

Well kept, couldn't ask for a simpler hike. Fairly flat for the first 2 kilometers finishing off with a moderately steep incline to get to the top. Well worth the trip. Be wary whilst driving up as the last few kilometers of road are narrow and have lots of blind spots. Happy trails 👣 be respectful and leave no trace. …

Loved it but wasn’t sure I was getting my wife back down the mountain lol but it is a nice work out, if you are like us! … fat and out of shape maybe try something else first and get in better shape, or try avoid going on a super humid day. Will be back but will be better prepared :)

We love this local hidden gem of a hike! A good workout with the dogs and little ones. Be sure to bring lots of water and snacks for a break at the top - it’s about a 1.5hr out and back trek. Be cautious with little kids at the top as it is a steep drop with no barriers at the lookout. Gorgeous views, especially in autumn. There’s always ample parking when we go. Through the week we’re often the only ones on the trail. Autumn can be busier. Very dog friendly. There is a well-kept outhouse on site. Be sure to leave a donation at the stand!

Update: Went again today (Sept 2024), still nice but somehow shorter than I remember. No bugs at this time of year, you're probably okay bug-wise going on this trail starting by the end of August, can't speak for sooner than that in the year. Old Review: Really nice 90 minute hike (roundtrip), not too hard to complete. Most of the path except for the last climb is easy enough for most people to do. The last bit is pretty steep so that's my only heads up. View is wonderful, better than the pictures suggest which are already great. If the weather's good, I'd highly recommend this. EDIT: I see a few posts complaining about bugs. It depends on the time of year because at the time of posting (late October) there was nothing but a few ladybugs at the peak.

Nice easy hike to the top which has a very good view of the valley. Last 300-400 meter stretch has bit of an incline but rest is easy. We went here in Sept 2024 and had fewer bugs but still could feel some mosquitoes on neck. Parking is limited. Driving to this place would need you to drive on gravel road for few kms which isn't bad. Cheers!!

Parking is limited and you drive a bit through a gravel road but it was all worth it. The trail is well maintained and the end view is amazing!

Short trail, easy slope up, then a bit of a rocky steeper section but very doable. Beautiful vista at the top. Spring and summer are very buggy, fall is awesome

Great trail, although the transit to get there is pretty out of the way. The first part of the trail is about 45 minutes of very light incline, followed by an accent to the peak which is much steeper, but direct and pretty short. Views are great but if you go later afternoon on a sunny day then there is a lot of glare from the sun. I recommend going in the morning, or at sunset would be very pretty if you can brave the trail back in the dark. As others recommend autumn leaves are likely to be brilliant.
